After 16 years of marriage, Farhan Akhtar and wife Adhuna announced their mutual separation and rumours suggest that it is allegedly the actor’s growing closeness to his Wazir co-star Aditi Rao Hydari that has apparently caused the rift and finally the break-up in his marriage.
While the couple announced that they were separating on mutual agreement, many believed that the Farhan-Adhuna split was a long time coming and his alleged liaison with Aditi just helped in nailing it further.
As per Bollywood Life, it all began on the sets of Wazirwhere sources revealed how the two would constantly stick to each other and would drop evident hints of being more than just friends. Even recently there were reports that the two are heading for a secret holiday together. However, considering the legal proceedings of Farhan’s divorce with Adhuna is still underway, the actor is refraining from talking about Aditi in public.
But recent reports suggest that the Akhtar family may have allegedly accepted and welcomed Aditi in their midst!
A leading daily recently reported how Aditi was seen accompanying Farhan’s family --- Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi and Zoya Akhtar on a movie date. While the shutterbugs failed to capture this priceless moment, it is quite strange how Farhan didn’t join in the family outing.
